Do you ever feel guilty for not being able to spend as much quality time with your wife as you’d like? Maybe she’s even brought it up to you.
In today’s world, we can get so caught up with working, other personal issues, and the daily struggle to get through everything. But, it’s definitely important to spend that quality time with your wife, for your sake, her sake, and of course, the sake of your marriage!
Try out some of these tips when it comes to spending more quality time with your life, and enjoy watching your marriage blossom all over again.
# Recreate The Beginning Of Your Relationship
If you don’t have a lot of time to begin with, it’s important to make the little quality time you do have count that much more. And, it doesn’t get much more romantic or thoughtful than recreating your first date together. Whether it was fast food and a movie, or taking a stroll through the park, try to remember every detail that went along with your first date, including what you wore, and recreate it one night for the two of you. She’ll love the fact that you went through the trouble of remembering, and that you want that initial spark the two of you had to continue for years to come.
# Make Time To Get Away
If your weeknights and weekends are usually jam packed with work, prior commitments, etc., then force yourself to make extra time. Plan a vacation for the two of you and surprise her with it. Whether it’s a weekend getaway, or a week-long trip, nothing will make her feel more appreciated than knowing you’re pushing everything else to the side for awhile to strictly focus on your marriage. Bonus – try to stay off your phone the entire time, too, and don’t even think about work!
# Create Romance At Home
You both have to be home together at some point, right? So, why not make the most of it? Hire a professional private chef to cook a fantastic meal, or cook one yourself, and serve it at your candlelit dining table. When dinner is done, watch an old movie together on the couch, or unleash your playful side and have a pillow fight! Not only will that help to release pent up tension and frustration, but it could lead to even more physical activity later on.
# Pamper Your Partner
Any time you can, shower your wife with affection she’ll love; whether it’s giving her a massage, giving her a bath, reading to her in bed, or just making sure she’s comfortable and relaxed as much as she can be, the little things go a long way, especially when you don’t have much time together. Again, if you can make the most of your limited time, it will make those moments that much more special, and your wife will feel incredibly appreciated. Don’t take those small moments for granted, and every single one you get will make you both realize how important your marriage really is.
